Grand Canal Dock

Cumberland Place is located in the heart of a major Smart City lab, The Smart Docklands.

This is a municipally funded initiative which enables inhabitants to enjoy new advances in smart lighting, Wi-Fi, integrated transport systems and live data on everything from environmental sustainability to the availability of car parking spaces and free bike schemes via a series of downloadable apps, amongst other innovations.

Hibernia REIT are hugely invested in this Smart City initiative and as part of this, Cumberland Place has been designed with a WiredScore rating of Platinum and as well as many smart technology features built into the design and operation of the entire campus. Indeed, it was also the first office development to achieve LEED Platinum rating in Ireland.
